The Love Russia Lent Appeal, easy as 1-2-3!! Simply...

1. Find an old jar or tin

2. Decide what to give up for lent

3. Place the money you would have spent on it, in the jar!

£25 can provide a family with a large sack of spuds providing warm meals galore!
Begin your chosen fast on Wednesday 22nd February. See how much you can put aside before Saturday 7th April and help fill a hungry tummy this Easter time.

Groups, schools and clubs will recieve a certificate of thanks and stickers for taking part.

 

Pants and A Pound Appeal 2011- 2012

Each year in the autumn we have a ‘something and a £1 appeal’ We do this in order to provide some of the basic essentials that orphaned and abandoned children in Russia often have to go without.

In the past, because of your help, we have been able to supply new toothbrushes, underwear, socks, scarves, hats and plasters to thousands of young people. This year, help us to supply them with NEW PANTS!

Simply collect your pants (only new ones please), and with each pair attach or send a pound also for us to give to orphanages for other essential underwear items. Encourage your school or group to collect together and we will acknowledge your help and achievement with a certificate and stickers for the children.

Recyling Appeal

Unwanted old mobile phones, empty printer cartrudges and even an old broken down car is of value to us!! Recycle them into pounds and help the people Love Russia supports.

New Quiz for November 2011

We have a new quiz available for you to use to raise awareness about the work of Love Russia or as an out and out Fundraiser! The Quiz contain,s as always a round on Love Russia. This way encouraging the participants to listen carefully to the short presentation (inculded!) and therefore go away a bit more informed having also had a fun time taking part in a quiz. Please do drop us an email if you are interested in the quiz pack postmaster@loverussia.org and we will send you everything you need for the quiz on one CD. The CD will conatain:
