Since 2003 Love Russia has run camps in several orphanages with great success. Formerly known as Summer Camps, the children attending ranged from 3 to 16 years and some children had learning difficulties. The camps involved a whole range of activities including craft, games, stories, singing etc. Many of the activities were related to Bible stories. Some were a mixture of practical projects as well as interaction with the children.

Building on the same format as the Summer Camps in previous years, STOP teams (Short Term OPportunities for mission) successfully held 2 camps last year and are planning on running a further 2 camps in 2012

With new locations, new children and new opportunities to share Gods love with many in need, we hope you will concider joining us?

28th July - 4th August. There will be the chance to work in an orphanage for disabled children coping with a wide range of conditions.

23rd July - 31st July. You will be able to work at a purpose built campsite on the border of Estonia, where orphans from Russia will be brought to stay and take part in a programme of events and activities.

There will be interpreters on each team and a support people to help with any problems. A preparation weekend will be held in the spring to help teams bond and get ready for their respective destinations.
