Alexa had lost the lower part of her left leg, due to an injury she sustained from her mother’s boyfriend one evening when he was drunk. He had trodden on her leg so hard it had crushed her young bones and caused severe damage to her lower left leg, the tissue started to die and a third of the lower leg sadly had to be amputated....
