Natasha is an orphanage leaver whom Love Russia has known since she was a child living in an orphanage.  We first met during Summer Camps when volunteers visited for a week each summer over a period of several years. She was born with a cleft palate and as an older child she was blessed with kindness from an American family who flew her to the US where they arranged for the surgery she needed.
 
After returning to Russia and during the years since leaving state care, Natasha had the support of Luba, a Love Russia Mentor -  "Luba has helped me in so many ways. She has taught me so much and stopped me from worrying about what might happen to me. We worked through everything step by step so my future was less frightening. Luba has been like a mother to me."
During this time Natasha developed a skill for crafts and uses them as a means to earn some essential living expenses.
