HOW WILL YOU BE REMEMBERED?
“A person cannot receive even one thing unless it is given him from heaven"
John 3:27 ESV
Everything we have is a gift from God! We're so thankful to the generous hearts who made provision in their wills for orphanage leavers and others in crisis when they set aside a Legacy gift.
HOW LEGACIES HELP
During our appeal to raise £100,000 for a new Transition Home, two Legacy gifts were received. So we could move things forward, they were added to what had already been raised. These legacy gifts made a huge impact on our ability to reach our fundraising goal much sooner than we would have otherwise!
The young people we seek to help often lack the most basic of needs such as food and clothes, but through monthly and one-off donations, we can help regularly with these small things.
Legacy giving is so important as it allows us to commit to projects that need much more - such as a new Transition Home - an investment that brings about a huge change in orphanage leavers' lives.
If you leave at least 10% of your net estate to charities in your will, you also benefit from inheritance tax being cut from 40% to 36%!
LEAVE SOMETHING AMAZING!
