5,000 pounds, 8 pairs of hands and 100's of prayers!

Just one year ago a team who stayed at the mums' rehabilitation and crisis centre were concerned that there was nowhere safe for the children to play. The crisis centre exists to enable mums to gain freedom from their addictions and come to know about the God who loves them, without losing their children to the orphanage system (as is usually the case). Large parts of the outside area were littered with building debris and were hazardous to small children. Six months later we began fundraising for £5,000. 11 months on from the initial idea, the money was raised and a small team of five volunteers from the UK joined two interpreters and our local Mentor for one week at the end of July, when the vision became reality! Thanks to the team; Matt, James, Lawrence, Anna, Andres, Simon, Helen and Sergei! Every blister and mozzie bite was worth it. And of course a huge thank you to every person who prayed for us and donated towards this fantastic place where many happy memories can be made. Thank you from all the LR Team,
