Like many children in Volkhov, 12-year-old Igor’s mum is drug dependent. She has tried many times to stop without lasting success. She loves Igor and Kolya, but they are sometimes neglected because of her addiction.
Igor is small for his age and his older brother Kolya, 19, uses a wheelchair but is mostly housebound in their 4th-floor home. They live in poverty, often lacking essentials, and have both learning disabilities.
THE SOLUTION FOR IGOR & KOLYA
At Legacy Lodge, Igor will have support with his education and have fun through games, outings and activities. He’ll learn about Jesus at Bible club and be listened to. Both Igor and Kolya will be helped with the basic needs they lack at home.
