Lives Transformed

As we look back over recent months, despite difficulties and challenges, we're filled with gratitude for all that God has done through your faithful support. Thank you for being part of these incredible stories of hope and transformation. Here's a few examples!

It was just before Christmas that Aneka arrived at the Women's Crisis Centre. In her own words she described herself as being "completely broken". She had reached the point that she knew outside help was her only option. Deep in addiction to alcohol meant she had lost all four of her children to an orphanage.

After a lot of work towards sobriety and realising her dependence needed to be on Jesus, Alina began helping Aneka become a mum again. In July we heard the wonderful news -"Today, we brought all four of her children home from the orphanage. We won the court case to restore her parental rights! Thank God! " - Alina.

Last year we fundraised for a baby called Abrim who needed urgent surgery. His mum was at our centre in need of immediate care and rehabilitation and it was quickly discovered that Abrim had been born with a heart defect that would dramatically shorten his life.

Abrim is now a toddler, and today he runs around with all the other little ones in the playground and games area at the centre! After such a scary situation for his mum not knowing what the future held, even in the short term for her little one - we praise God for such an outcome.

Madelina was made homeless by her dad at age 14. She went on to become an addict and her partner was abusive.

Through a rehab centre she was introduced to faith, and at the Women's Crisis Centre she cemented her relationship with Jesus. Recently she was asked to take on the role of helping others in the situation she once was. It is with confidence and a desire to help others that Madelina has gladly said 'yes' to the role of Head of Rehabilitation.

"Every day I experience God's love. Every day I am strengthened in my faith! Now, when the world seems lost, I know where to look and I know who to ask. The Lord has entrusted me with caring for new girls at the centre, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as I was once served." - Madelina.

Thank you for helping bring hope where it is needed.

Together, we're seeing lives restored, families reunited and hearts transformed - all to the glory of God.
