Peace in the Storm

As we wait for news regarding a new bank account, which greatly impacts our future as a charity as well as the people we help, we look to Jesus' teaching as a way to cope during this difficult time.

"Teacher, don't you care if we drown?" was the reaction of His disciples when there was a storm raging around them. We all find ourselves here sometimes, shouting ‘Lord, what are you going to do about it!’

Jesus’ response is this. "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?" (Mark 4:40). He wanted them to realise that even in the middle of chaos, being afraid of what comes next is unnecessary. We can trust that He is in control.

So, that is where we are. Digging deep into His promise of ‘shelter from the storm’ and praying that His will be done.

Please continue praying with us for the future of Love Russia and the support it facilitates every day to around 200 very vulnerable people.

We know that many of you have supported this work for years. Thank you for being by our side on this journey. Below is why we'd like your help to intercede in prayer now.

Bank Account Closure

Our Zempler bank account has been restricted and is closing in August. This is how we fund projects that desperately need support.

Meanwhile, our projects continue helping the homeless, elderly, amputees, addicts, orphans and families needing to escape violence.

We cannot leave these people without support.

Donating through PayPal

We can still receive funds through PayPal. If you would like to donate in the short term, and would usually do so via standing order or direct debit, we recommend going through PayPal (www.paypal.com) and selecting "Love Russia Limited".
