CHRIST AT THE CENTRE
We are a small UK-registered charity that partners with Russian Christians who have a heart and vision for supporting orphans and adults in crisis in their local communities in western Russia. Our role is to identify needs; support those running the projects; and help finance their work. This approach is deliberate in order to develop long-term, sustainable, community-led solutions to social issues seen in Russia today.
As a Christian charity, we believe that our strength comes from the Lord. It has only been through Him that we have been able to help vulnerable orphans, adults in crisis and the disadvantaged since 1993.
GOD IS IN CHARGE
We are acutely aware of our shortcomings and lack of power to make a difference in our OWN strengths. As Proverbs 16 v 9 states, we can make plans but it is the Lord who establishes our steps. Without Him we can do nothing.
Time and time again God has directed our path, leading us into new situations and providing at exactly the right time.
There have been multiple occasions when we've been blessed with gifts; funding for building projects, new vehicles, emergency medical support... often the exact amount needed for the next challenge ahead!
THE TEAM
In the UK we are a small team of 4 (2 full-time, 2 part-time). Each day we meet (in person or via video call) for a short time of prayer and discussion to commit each working day to the Lord whilst bringing before Him our partners, beneficiaries, and friends of the charity.
OUR SUPPORT NETWORK
Our supporters are from all over the UK with a smaller number dotted around the world. The majority have originated from churches, many having heard about us through a visiting speaker. Many have accommodated us in their own homes to enable a visit from us, have joined us on trips to Russia and have fundraised and prayed for this work daily! We are extremely blessed to have such faithful prayer warriors out there supporting and listening for God's calling to give.

You can join us live on Zoom when we meet together on the first Wednesday of alternate months to pray for those we help.
Every two months we send out a prayer diary and in between times we send regular updates and news articles to keep you informed about the people and projects we are involved with. You can sign up to get this below!
