URGENT - PLEASE HELP STEFAN

We have an urgent need for Orina and her son Stefan. She volunteers at our Volkhov Soup Kitchen, and graduated from our Women's Crisis Centre recovery programme.

Stefan's Urgent Need: 

Her 13-year-old son, Stefan, was severely injured when an unexploded device detonated in his hands in the forest. He has 40% burns and damaged eyesight.

While basic care is covered, he needs life-changing skin graft and cornea transplant surgery to avoid permanent disability and disfigurement.The cost is around £4,500, which is far beyond Orina's means as a single mother earning around £400 a month.

Orina's Journey of Strength:

Orina's life has been marked by incredible hardship. Orphaned young, she later suffered brutal domestic abuse before finding safety and recovery from addiction through our Women's Crisis Centre in 2011. She has fought courageously to overcome her past, rebuild her life, and provide for Stefan as a single mum. She is a testament to God's grace and the power of this community's support. Since graduating from the Women's Crisis Centre she has continued to do well in her addiction recovery, has a job as a cook, and is a member of the local church.
